JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE
Catalan Sport Tours offers you the unique opportunity in playing before or at half time to the SuperLeague clash in Perpignan, for some, a once in a lifetime opportunity. We are the only company in Perpignan that can deliver this experience, as we are the official travel partner of the Catalans Dragons and work directly with the French and English Federations.
Our packages are very flexible depending on budgets, via low cost airlines, accommodation pension options, rooms sleeping upto 6 of the tour party.
We also organise top class coaches and an experienced tour guide, fluent in French and English, whom will meet you at the airport and be on call 24hrs and for the duration of your stay.

ILE DES PECHEURS RESORT
"Le vrai (REAL) Catalan experience !!!" The island of fisherman resort is situated 15 minutes North East of Perpignan on the Meditteranean coast line, close to the main touristic town of Barcares.
Port Barcares is world renowned for its magnificent fully restored ship docked on the beach called the "Le LYDIA " decked out as a Casino, Restaurant and Niteclub with ocean and mountain views. Barcares is also well known for its sardine gillades , outdoor animations, mile long sandy beach, magnificent views on Canigou mountain and lake, fine dining restaurants, a truly beautiful typical Catalonian resort town.
The Ile Des Pecheurs resort is within a 10 minute walk to the beach, with resort style pools one heated, jacuzzi, kids club and activities, restaurants, bar, billiard tables, Gym, tennis courts, games rooms, internet, hot food snack bar serving up hot chips, hamburgers, pizzas, onsite grocery store, close to the wet'n'wild water park.

Folly Lane ARLFC U13s have just had the experience of a lifetime with the club working in conjunction with Dave Foti of Catalan Sports Tours. This is the fourth successive trip with CST and we have already booked for 2011. As the organiser, using CST represents peace of mind. I know the warm welcome, logistics, accommodation, transport and game experience will be spot on. Dave excelled himself this year and the additional BBQ we ordered was excellent, cooked by the man himself (but then as an Aussie we couldn't get him away from the Barbie!). Our lads played a full game on the full pitch as a curtain raiser to the Catalans v Salford game, a never to be forgotten experience for the lads... Cheers Dave!

"we would like to thank all the people who made this trip Possible, from Rachel Doran and here collegues at the rugby league services, mick Doyle from North West counties.
David Foti from Catalan Sport Tours, all the parents for the big fundraising effort we done and anybody else who contributed.
We all arrived at the airport on the Friday 6.00pm flight time to arrive in Spain at about 10pm Spanish Time. Then we met Brad from Catalan Sport Tours who sorted out the coach trip up to France. On arrival to the resort which David
Had arranged we were met with sandwiches and the bar open at 11.40pm. The resort had everything bar, swimming Pool, games for the kid’s, snack bar, shop, and the accommodation had all the facilities in them.
The Saturday was breakfast and then the lads went to the adventure park which was very difficult was some but a day they and the dads enjoyed. Lads couldn’t wait to get back to the pool ready for the bbq on the night which was
Great fun for the team in full.
Sunday was why we went there for the rugby and we was not disappointed with the hospitality by the barcares Rugby club, they had teams from around the local area and we ended up playing 9 aside, with an agreement of playing 13 aside at the end of the day and the lads really enjoyed the day, the food was provided for all the Players and parents were at a small cost. So thanks to all involved who made the day an enjoyable one.
We had plenty of offers to swap kit which went down well with all the lads as they were swapping anything they could, And to cap the day off they presented us with a trophy that we did not expect.
The Monday was a free day where we enjoyed some walking and sightseeing of the resort and some of Lads went fishing
This was a trip of a life time for some lads and from my view it was well worth doing and all are lads have asked Can they go back next year? Thanks to all the people who made this possible and for those who would like to Do this, I would recommend they go, because the game is developing all the time there, and since I last went the Rugby league has improved no end. Good luck to the French team and hope to see you in the future.

FROM Keighley Cougar Cubs under 13s
In May 2008, Keighley Cougar Cubs under 13s embarked on our
first overseas tour, to France. While there, the lads
played in a Super League curtain-raiser for the Catalans
Dragons in Perpignan, before the following day taking part
in a wonderful junior rugby league tournament in
Carcassonne, on the day of the Lord Derby Cup Final.
Throughout our time in the south of France, our itinerary
was managed by David Foti and his team at Catalan Sport
Tours. When you organise such a trip, you worry that there
are a multitude of things that might not go to plan. Coach
transfers may not turn up, the accommodation might prove
unsuitable, the rugby may not be up to scratch etc etc...
Well, for us at Keighley Cougar Cubs, things could not
have gone better on every front.
The lads (not to mention
their parents and coaches) all had a cracking,
action-packed time - the experience of a lifetime, for
many. And a large part of that was down to the efficiency
of Catalan Sport Tours who worked quietly in the background
to ensure that our trip went as smoothly as possible.
